Jet Weston and his Atomic Ranch Hands Performing at 2008 Americana Roots Music Festival July 4th, 5th and 6th, Airport Park, Matamoras, PA

Matamoras, PA (PRWEB) July 1, 2008 -- Jet Weston and his Atomic Ranch Hands will be one of the bands performing at the tri-state area's first Americana Roots Music Festival on Fourth of July weekend at Airport Park in Matamoras, Pennsylvania.

The Americana Roots Music Festival was conceived by Don Oriolo and Joe Bargallo with the intent of bringing together Country & Western, Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, Texas Swing and Rockabilly bands for a holiday weekend of American roots music entertainment and giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds from the Festival will benefit area Volunteer Fire Departments, Rescue Squads, The Wounded Warrior Project, The Devi Blue Foundation and The Pike County Humane Society.

Featured performers include John Sebastian, Bobby Bare, Leon Redbone, Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion, Todd Snider, James Montgomery, Blues Band, Tom and Sandy Doyle, John Sheehan, Eugene Chrysler, VW Boys, Rachel Allyn, Con Fullam, Lee Reiser, Mike Lawlor Band, Gary Ray Kin, Hearts Content, Rockets Red Glare, Mike Agranoff, Scott Weis Band, Dakini, Todd Snider, and Jet Weston and his Atomic Ranch Hands.

The Americana Roots Music Festival is a Rain-or-Shine, general admission event. Entertainment runs continuously on two stages Friday and Saturday from noon until 10 PM and Sunday from noon until 5 PM. Self-contained campers are allowed for the weekend. Non self-contained and tent camping is available at nearby campgrounds.
