UKAS
How do you balance a cutting-edge website that communicates a business with years of setting and upholding global standards?
UKAS is the National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom. They are appointed by government, to assess and accredit organisations that provide services including certification, testing, inspection, and calibration. They are an essential if not often unseen part of businesses and consumers daily lives.
Our brief was to redesign and build the UKAS website to include information architecture, user personas, user journey mapping, UX, UI, WordPress CMS build and Pardot marketing automation integrations.
The goal was to create a digital experience that straddled the fine balance between being a trusted and established global leader with the attitude and look of a progressive ‘next generation’ business. The website user experience needed to embody the UKAS brand promise of ‘a world of confidence’.
The project started with a thorough strategy, discovery and definition phase involving several of the UKAS teams to deliver a focused and clear strategy for the project. The UX journeys were mapped against wireframes to support clear and accessible gateways to the right content whilst promoting the ‘discovery’ of support marketing, lead generation, sales enablement, and talent acquisition.
We built a bespoke WordPress search function with advanced filtering for users to access the UKAS accredited company directory that can be filtered by name, region, or category. The WordPress build and development integrated with a Pardot CRM to improve lead generation and better understand the sales journey through the website.
